Welcome, Tina!

Please help the library staff welcome our newest staff member, Tina Kilcullen.  Tina joins the library staff as a Library Associate, Senior, with primary responsibilities including answering questions at the information desk, library acquisitions, and archives.

Tina is well-acquainted with working in a college library as she was previously employed as a student assistant as the Kent State Stark Campus Library.  Tina's previous experience also includes working as a Credit Assistant and Consumer Loan Office with KeyBank and a Sales Assistant with Regal Construction.

Welcome, Denise!

The library staff would like to welcome our newest part-time staff member, Denise Mullins. Denise comes to us from The University of Akron Science Library, where she worked as a reference assistant off-campus in the AES/ExxonMobile Information Center. Denise will be staffing the Information Desk and coordinating library acquisitions.

After several years of service in the library, Abby Silchuk is leaving Wayne College to pursue a full time position at the University of Akron Law Library.

Abby started as a student assistant in 2001 and was promoted to a staff library assistant position a few years later. Abby has left her mark in the library by developing the children’s literature collection, teachers resources, and most recently, the kit collection. Today the archives would still be a stack of smelly boxes and disorganized file cabinets if not for Abby’s tenacity and organizational skills!

We will all miss Abby’s presence at the information desk and behind the scenes, but wish her well as she continues her library career. Good luck, Abby!
