Library Workshop Quiz Score Availability Extended

Good news! The library has released access to older library workshop quiz scores going back to the 2008-9 school year. Please check with your course instructors to see if they will accept older quiz scores. See the library staff if you need help or have questions!

Plan Accordingly: Springboard will be down on Sunday

From Information Technology Services:

"Springboard, Exchange will be offline Sunday, March 13
On Sunday, March 13, from 1 to 9 p.m., Information Technology Services will perform an upgrade on one of UA's main storage systems. To perform this upgrade, some popular resources will be offline: Exchange, Springboard, Zipspace, Videomedia, departmental file (such as your H: drive) and printing.
This upgrade will enable us to keep up with the growing demands for storage space for things like online course content, streaming video content and providing new Web services."

Please keep in mind that this will reduce the time the library workshops are available to students before the deadline.  The deadline for all quizzes is Wednesday, March 16, 2011.

The workshop originally scheduled for today at 11 a.m. has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 2oth from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Canceled Workshops Have Been Rescheduled

Saturday's canceled workshops have been rescheduled for Saturday, February 13th:

Workshop 3: 10 - 11 a.m.
Workshop 4: 12 - 1 p.m.

Early next week we'll call those who were registered can make the new times.

What a Week!

Since we're all snowed in on this lovely Saturday morning (at least it's lovely where I'm at!), the two library workshops that were supposed to be held today will need to be rescheduled.

If you're working against a deadline, don't forget that all four workshops are available online via Springboard.

We will post updates to the Workshop schedule here, and we will contact people who were registered early next week.

Today's Library Workshop Has Been Rescheduled

Today's workshop, Workshop 3, "Research Databases 102," that was cancelled due to the emergency evacuation of the college, has been rescheduled for:

Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

If you were signed up for today's workshop, please call the library to confirm if you plan to attend the rescheduled session. There are still spaces left if you would like to be added to the list.

Tutorials for each workshop take at least one hour each, so please leave plenty of time to complete the workshops.

Important Workshop Reminder:

Please be advised that all workshop tests MUST be completed by Saturday, March 15th. You will not be able to access any pre-tests, post-tests, or retakes after this date.

We also require up to 7 days to grade tests for workshops 1 and 2. Keep this in mind when referring to course deadlines.
