Food For Fines

During the month of March, Wayne College Library will be accepting non-perishable food items in lieu of money owed on fines!!!!


Items most needed are:
• cereal
• applesauce
• canned pasta dinners (ravioli or spagettios)
• crackers
• peanut butter


Canned and non-perishable items will be accepted at one item for every dollar owed. Sorry, we cannot forgive charges associated with lost materials replacement as part of this fine forgiveness campaign.


Even if you do not have any library fines, please consider contributing to this worthy cause.


All items collected will be donated to People to People Ministries.

UA Libraries Catalog Down on Tues. 2/21/12

An upgrade to the UA Libraries server is expected to occur on Tuesday, February 21st between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  This will affect access to the library's catalog, but not other subscription library databases. 

While the server is down, users will not be able to search the UA library catalog, view their patron records, request items locally or via OhioLINK, or use the OhioLINK Remote Authentication Service. Users may use the OhioLINK Central Catalog to locate items in the UA collection.

Please see the library staff during the upgrade for assistance during the upgrade.

Expected Delays in Library Materials Delivery

OhioLINK will be switching to a new book delivery vendor in early March. Some delivery delays are expected during this transition, so please plan ahead and request your materials early. Please see the library staff if you have any questions.
